Mr. Sokol - 4th Degree Black Belt
Mr. Sokol has been training in the martial arts since 1985. He started
his martial arts training in Hapkido. He has been affiliated with the
American Taekwondo Association (ATA) since 1991 when he began his Taekwondo
training with Mr. Ken DeBose in Huntington Beach California. After moving
to Modesto California he earned his Black Belt under the instruction of
Master Scott Cescolini. Mr. Sokol entered the instructor training program
in 1995 and became a certified instructor in 1997. After teaching for
Master Cescolini for three years Mr. Sokol started a small Taekwondo Club
of his own in Hughson California in 1998.
In 2003 Mr. Sokol and Ms. Silva moved form California to Connecticut
and opened Sokol's Taekwondo in Naugatuck. Mr.s Sokol's Hope is that in
some way he can make a difference in his students' lives by helping them
set and achieve their goals, while building the self confidence and physical
strength.
